I have a Husky m46 that I purchased from Tradeex. After finding all the info I could I reloded some ammo. I fired it at the range and chose the most accurate loads and then checked the speeds.

None of these loads showed any signs of high pressure when fired.
It was -10C and the rifle and ammo were -10C also.

47grns IMR4064
250grn Nosler
2156fps, 2152fps, 2149fps
48grns of IMR4064 seemed safe but the groups spread way out.

46grns Benchmark
250grn Nosler
2276fps, 2271fps, 2285fps

47grns Benchmark
250grn Nosler
2345fps I had never fired this load before so I only loaded one but it showed no sigh of high pressure.

44grns IMR4064
286grn Hornady
1964fps, 1943fps, 1931fps

45grns IMR4064
1991fps, 1981fps, 1992fps

Next I will try some Benchmark for the 286grn bullets.

Thanks for the info on the 9.3x57, I'm kind of toying with the idea if getting one myself.

You're probably already aware, but just remember that if you work up max loads in -10 degree weather, you may be in for an unpleasant surprise at +25 degrees!

That is why I added the info on the temp. I also would'nt recomend anyone starting at these loads as I started considerably lower.

Thanks for posting the data barktwid. I have some 250 Noslers to try as well.
What were the groups like?

I would think 47 of Benchmark will be a max load at the tem you tested it at. May want lower for the spring bear season in a M96.
Anthony sure has a bunch of 9,3's there right now....it is so tempting.........

The best groups were with 47grns of IMR 4064 and Nos 250grn bullets. They were all touching at 40yards. Benchmark was very close though and if I were to hunt with the rifle I would probably use the 46grns of benchmark as I tested that load in an indoor range where the temp was +15C.

just a bit more powder capacity on the 9.3x62 , The tradeex rifles are nearly the same (Almost all are M-96 Mausers). Just Ask Anthony and he will Handpick one for you with your specs.
