9.3x62 'plans' in motion

You're off to the races then!

:)Right you are. There is one more slight change I was thinking of making to the 375 H&H. Other than the calibre, the main difference between the pair of Winchestewr Super Express rifles I have is the scope mounts. On the 458WM I have a set of Weaver pivot mounts where as, those on the 375 are Burris/Leopold. Visiting a friend this afternoon, he gave me a set of pivot mounts. I was thinking of making a change but I'll go with what I've mounted on it and perhaps change in the not too distant future.

You're too old to see the irons anyway.

There you go, but the eyes aren't the problem. It's the cane. It gets in the way and in the heat of the moment the confusion comes into play when I mistake it for the rifle. That confusion eases off when I finally remember,;) the cane is the one without the trigger;);) and a scope.Laugh2

I got my little Husky out to the range again today, to try out a few handloads, and some Norma factory loads

I think I might have found the sweet spot.

:)Looks good, ;)the rifle and the shooting. I posted some of the results I got with my Zastava earlier on in this thread. Those with experience with the .366 Wagner indicate this calibre just seems to shoot well with virtually any reasonable load. All I've put through mine are loads using the the 285gr Prvi bullets with IMR 4320 and IMR 4064. Since those initial loads, I've picked up some 286gr Barnes TSX from the;) 'Candy' store in Naniamo, WSS. Picked up some 290gr FB from Marshal at Matrix and my only purchase at the gun show today in Victoria at the SVI Rangers site was a part box of 57 Norma 231gr bullets.:DA good selection to play with now.

These were my first reloads for the 366 Wagner. Looks like anywhere from 53 to 55 grains of IMR 4895 will do the job with the 386 gr. Hornady. I've got some 232gr Norma Vulcan, and some 285gr Oryx coming in to play with, and the local store has some Nosler Interbonds, but I don't think I'm going to find anything better than what I've got now.

Rifle & scope weigh 7 1/2 pounds, with only the original plastic buttplate, and is leaving bruises on my scrawny carcass. Trigger pull is over 5 pounds, I need to work on that. Have a spare Husqvarna adjustable trigger that might go on it. Over all, pretty happy with the results so far.

Yes;), but look at the fun you're having:cool:.

My Zastava Mannlicher came with what looks very much like a 'Flip Flop' recoil pad designed by Why not? :). The rifle, empty with sling and scope weighs in at 9 lbs. The two boxes of ammo in the photo have photos I copied and printed off at an appropriate size and taped on to plastic cartridge boxes.
