Is the M96 action strong enough to handle the 9.3x62? Or should it be reserved for the M98 action?
 
It's probably OK but you might be pushing things a bit. If you have a choice go with the 98 just to be that much safer - it can handle the higher pressures that the larger calibers generate. The 96 action would be a good choice for a light weight rifle in a suitable varmint caliber.

Dont know what the pressure differences are between the two cartidges though.

Husqvarna Commercial M96 in 9.3x62. Excellent bore. Drilled & Tapped for scope. Front base installed. Front swivel missing. Hairline cracks at the tang. Bolt handle modified for scope and has a synthetic knob. Few dings in stock. Overall very good condition. Actual rifle pictured. $325.00
