9.3x62mm brass?

TRADE Ex and Dave Friesen at BC Redneck have / had the Prvi Partizan Urice (PPU)-made brass (stamped GRAF) for 1/2 the LAPUA price.

PPU's brass is not bad, they weight about the same as the Lapua and water content (case volume and wall thickness) is about the same too. The weight fluctuates a bit more, though.

I use both, and prefer the Lapua, but if you don't want to spend 1.00 $ / case, the PPU is still a much better choice than using reformed '06 brass.

I bought my first batch of Norma 9.3X62 brass from Ellwood Epps. It was expensive but I've loaded it 8-10 times with no losses and the primer pockets are still tight.

9.3x62mm favorite bullets and powders???

I was thinking of trying the 250 GR. TSX as the lighter bullet may have a bit less recoil. A bit of an issue cause I am used to the 30 06. But have gotten the 9.3x62mm itch.

What is your favorite loads for the 9.3x62mm guys?

Or at least favorite bullets and powder?

thanks

They're all good. Depends on what you want to use it.

The 250 Accubond are hard to beat for precision. The PPU 285 grainers are cheap as dirt.

I use Woodleigh 285, Hornady 285, 250 TSX, PPU 285, Nosler AB 250 and Speer 270 and they all cleanly do what they were designed for.

Depends on the make of rifle all my CZ 550's have a really copper problem with Barnes bullets, They shoot well but really foul up. I went to a Nosler 250 gr Accu-bond and reloader 15 for powder in a Graff case. these give me a 3/4 inch group.

Im cheap so I picked up some 1F PPU brass from a fellow on this site. Looks good.

Ill be testing 270 speers pushed by BLC-2 . Ive been getting buried in snow for the two last weekends, hoping for some testing this weekend. Starting loads for now as the Factory Stiga buttplate looks somewhat uninspiring.
