9.3x62mm factory ammo available??

For you guys that have 9.3x62 rifles, is there ANY factory ammo available for these in Canada?? Or is this a reloading only proposition?? I plan on buying a rifle chambered for this, but would be nice to have a box or two of ammo before I figure out reloading for rifles. Thanks in advance.

One of the local shops has some S&B in stock so there is some available. Personally I roll my own.

Epp's lists it. Doesn't say what make. Most likely Lapua. Be less expensive to reload.

Epps got Norma 9.3X62 and 9.7X57 not so long ago. Not that expensive, but me too, roll my own.

Get some PPU brass (Prvi Partizan Urice) from either Trade Ex or BC Redneck.
If you have a HVA M/46 or M/649 (M94), then use the PPU Round Nose 286 grainers, they will fit in the magazine (OAL 3.240" will fit).

Where are you in Mid-Sask? I'll be down in that neck of the woods in April and will be getting re-acquainted with my 9.3x62.

I know that R. Nicholls imports Norma factory ammo, but I found them a bit stunned and ignorant when I dealt with them trying to get component bullets. Personally, if I were you I'd reload for it.

I know of a shop in Sudbury who has Norma Factory ammo for this cal. I think he quoted me 49.99 for a box of 20. Im glad I will be reloading it.

$50 a box isn't bad, given that it's likely loaded with 286 Oryx bullets. Premium ammo costs a premium.
