Who makes a rifle in this cal? Looks interesting. Anybody have anything to say on this cal, or rhe 370sako?

Brenneke= serious power , mind I ask what your hunting ? 9.3x62 is fairly common and up to most tasks although I completely understand the need for a caliber / rifle for no other reason than I want it .

The 9.3x64 is basically on par with the .375 H&H. I think I've seen a total of 50 9.3x64 brass for sale at a gun show. That's 30 years hanging around gun shows. If I wanted a rifle of that power level I would pick the much easier to feed .375.

While it is true that the .375 H&H will do anything the 9.3 Brenneke will do, and it is easier to feed, that certainly does not disqualify the Brenneke... I have owned to rifles chambered in 9.3X64, and several in X62 and X74R... however in NA, the .35 calls pretty much do the same, for all intents and purposes... I have several .35's and then jump to the .40+ calls for launching bigger chunks of lead. If you just gotta have one, then get it, it is a nice cartridge for moose and bear, and if you reload, you can take it from mild to wild. I still own and shoot the 7X64 Brenneke in a Ruger M77 MKII and a CZ 550 Lux.

just curious about the round, really. it seems like it is such a good caliber. i suppose i would like something unique, so i thought a high end german / european rifle might be in order! i've notice zastava offers a custom rifle option, depending on price this could be a choice. if you go to their webpage, you can see what their 'exclusive' rifle looks like, its pretty amazing.

I have always liked being in a hunt Camp with something other than an .odd 6 that everyone else has . Just don’t forget your ammo ! They can all borrow

I don't think Zastava qualifies as 'high end'. mebe Sauer or Mauser, but not Zastava... :yingyang:

Regular zastavas are ####e, but if the price were right, id take a chance on the exclusive. Take a look at it, its pretty impressive. Only would go that route if it were priced right, no point paying rigby or mauser prices for a zastava.

Knowing that this is an older thread.... I still feel the need to post.
I am a fan of the 9.3x64.
I have a Voere Titan (Toesche) which is a beautiful European styled rifle.
It has taken several black bear and elk with the 286 gr RWS TUG Tielmantle bullet.
Smacks animals with authority.
Recoil is not unpleasant, and it seems to be inheirantly accurate.
Head and shoulders above the 62.

Sure there are "modern" cartridges that fill the slot for performance, but the classics are timeless.
