I figured I would start a new thread for this. I'm pretty new to the game and waiting on my first Firearm, a shadow 2.
I'm ordering parts and purchased the 7 piece trigger set from Cesar Shop.
I've been told from a reliable source this configuration will run any regular ammo

I'm wondering what ammo people are running on their Shadow 2?

And where do they source it or do they normally wait for their local store to have sales?
Does anyone regularly purchase off any suppliers here?

Any help would be appreciated.

Shadow 2s will generally eat almost anything without issue. High volume shooters will usually order ammo by the case from any of the sponsor dealers that have cheap or free shipping. SFRC and TradeEx are my go-to places. Blazer Brass, S&B, PPU, PMC, American Eagle, Winchester, etc. Plenty of brands to choose from. You could also get remanufactured ammo like Centaure, BDX, Western Metal, X-Metal. 147 grain ammo will generally shoot softer but cost more than 115 or 124.

I like to use 124gr s&b or bdx reloads. I've used 1000rds of wwb and the steel case winchester too so it'll work with all ammo. Find the cheapest ammo to practice and the nicer ammo for matches.

Buy whatever is cheap and shoot a lot. Many sponsors ship for free if you eclipse a monetary threshold (Tenda, Western Metal, Bullseye, FOC etc.).

Buy some snap caps to go with the ammo. Slows down the expense at the start, and allows you to keep on top of your fundamentals. The ‘ball and dummy’ drill was recently posted in this subforum, and it’s a great thing to do.

Some of my friends with S2’s, optics or standard, are having great success with 147 grain 9mm bullets. My friend the ProjectileKing.com sells the 147 Campro bullets.

I guess in theory for experienced shooters the higher grain is lower recoil. I'll definitely check it out against the 125 and 115.
Thanks for your advice
