9" vs. 10"

i am building an AR an utalizing an NEA 10.5" barrel and will be installing a "birdcage" style flash hider (vltor, NEA ) .

originally i wanted to use a 9" rail but lately have been considering a 10" rail.

can anyone post pics of an AR with a 10.5" barrel "birdcage" style flash hider and either a 10" rail or 9" rail?

please label your picture 9" rail or 10" rail

You're not likely going to want your hand that close to a birdcage FH. That last 1" is going to make a difference there. My suggestion would be to go with a 9" rail or a different muzzle device.

if you run a barrel 0.5'' longer than your rail it will look something like this:

-Spikes tactical lower
-RRA Upper
-Noveske 12.5 barrel
-LMT Bolt
-Magpul stock
-MBUS flip-up front and back sights
-12 inch NEA rail
