90 grain SMK in Middlested

Anyone using the 90 grain SMK or Berger in the 22/243 Middlested? I finally got around to pulling off the fireforming barrel, and want to get going with the 80-90 grain bullets in the 1-8 Lilja.
I'm particularly interested in data for H1000 and H4831, mostly because I have tons of it. I've got a starting point for H1000, but wouldn't mind a little confirmation from other sources.

Well, cancel the 90 SMKs. Almost half of them are blowing up in the air.

If 90's are blowing up, I shudder to think what lighter bullets will do!

The 90 VLD Bergers have a thicker jacket and should be more resistant, but I would have thought your twist was a bit tight for the velocities you're getting. (I cannot speak from direct personal experience)

I do know that 6mm 115 Bergers (with a label recommendation for a 7" twist) disintegrate in a 6-284 with a 7" twist. It is definitely too tight for big, overbore cartridges.

I tried Plan "B", which was some 75 Grain A-Maxes I had laying around. Living 5 minutes away from the a range does have it's advantages. They make it all the way to the target, and are showing promise at 43 grains of H4831.
A friend is driving 90 grain Bergers with 47.5 grains of H1000 in a 1-8 Gaillard. Chronoed at 3300 fps without any magical, disappearing bullet tricks. Now I just have to try to find some of them.
