Purchased a 90-Two Berretta and was surprised to feel such a long trigger pull, which seems to affect accuracy. Anyone out there experience the same? Anyone have a suggestion or experience in making this gun more accurate?

trigger pull

I have Ruger M77 MkII in both 30-06 and .223, the -06 is not bad but I was wondering about adjusting the trigger pull on the Rugers. I noticed you had one listed as well.

I have a Beretta 90-Two, purchased from Smokin' Gun FX out of Vancouver last year. To improve accuracy there are two things to consider, here. First, if you have a medium to large sized hand, then I would strongly suggest getting a pair of thicker grips. Having such grips with medium/large hands will lead to better control or grip of the handgun. Simply put, the more surface area you can grasp with your hand, the more control you will have. Secondly, looking at the stock sights that come with the 90-Two, the is a relatively large sight-picture between the front and back sights. Changing the sights to the point of having almost zero gap between the back sight (left to right) and the front sight will minimize the deviation of the handgun from going left or right. Before changing sights, I would shoot a clip off at 15 yards just to see where your aiming. If you are all over, then changing sights to something akin to competition might be your choice.

It's a Berretta 92, you can try changing springs (I think Wolfe has them), but mostly you learn to live with it, it's not a target pistol. - dan

90-two. Well my glock isnt a target pistol either, but it shoots beter then the beretta.

I've recently acquired a mint condition 92 SB and it shoots great - from the bench it will easily shoot 1 1/2" 10 round groups at 25 yds with lead bullets. The trigger however is a bear (it breaks very clean, but it is heavier than hell), it makes accurate off hand shooting tough. I will have to look into a Wolfe spring set for it. I've also heard of using a "D" spring - which I assume comes out the 96 D to improve the pull and from what I recall is still IPSC legal.

Shooting Glock 9mm, too, in addition to the Beretta 90-Two, I very much agree with lcpaintballer. Aside from considering the grips on the Beretta, I agree with Dan that changing springs and sights would be the max for this semi-auto. For accuracy, Dan's SIG210 can pay dividends on paper, but maybe a CZ would be lighter on the pocketbook.
