Ok, who am I going to have to kill to get one of these? Lost out on a messed up hungarian in jan & got scooped at epps today for a russian. Its really bumming me out that I get there with too little too late.

You guys will dig this photo! She is a total hottie with over 50 confirmed kills.
She was a kindergarten teacher before the war.
I really dig her rifle.

The pic is from Wikipedia ,unfortunatly she did not make it through the war.
She wrote a book during the war called "I will go back after the battle".
The title comes from what she said when she first arrived at the front and the guys tried to send her home. There was one woman with 200+ kills as well. The Finn who has the record of 500+ (with a mosin with iron sights) and another 75+ with a suomi is a fascinating story. The russians called him "White death".

Surprisingly, I have gotten near MOA ((1.5 MOA to be exact) with my Nagant Sniper firing 7N1 through it. Bet it would even do better with handloads. Got a set of dies and 100+ pieces of brass, but with all the fodder I have, haven't had need to try yet....Here's some pics...

I have just started loading for my M44. 174 grn hornadys with 39grns of IMR 3031 shoots 1" groups at 100 yds.

I tried 150 grn hornadys with various charges of 3031 at first but did not have much luck with those at all. I was going to try 125 grn bullets but all they had down the shop was the 174 grns, but they seem to have done the trick. May well be a different story with your rifle, having a longer barrel and all.

those reproduction PU scopes and mounts at Kalinka optics,

is it best to use a hexagon receiver m91/30 for making into a sniper?

or Octagon?

thanks for clarification, i've never been clear on this.
