Hi.

Just about to purchase my first pellet gun, the Beretta 92FS and wonder if I'm making the right choice. I own the real thing but plinking is becoming expensive hence the switch to pellet.

Any suggestions or words to the wise?

If you want any kind of rewarding plinking experience with a pellet gun, you'll want a rifle, not a pistol.

I love my Umarex's. My Berette is more accurate than the S&W. Great for plinking and they are well made.

I have a old Crossman C02 pistol and it took down many gophers. I used it around the corrals so as not to scare the cows. So a pistol is as much fun as the rifles if the work.
