I heard that Beretta is no longer making the 92 series pistols, as they are now making the "ninety two" plasitc ones...

I am really hoping that they still make the M9 style pistols still, as I am wanting to pick up an unused 92D or an FS.

I saw on their site that the 92's are still listed, but I heard a rumor that they are no longer in production.

So? can I order a new 92FS style?

thanks for any info.

90-two's aren't plastic. they are still aluminum framed, just less material, so that interchangeable backstrap/grips could be used. beyond that there is just some recontouring to the design.

There's no new 92fs that will come from the factory. If you want some you'll have to find one that is already bought by a dealer in canada. TSE I think was listing but they were BO . What you can do is to call Stoeger canada and ask them if they're is still some to come in canada.
Good luck

Call some of the small town gunstores and you might find an overpriced new one still sitting on the shelves. Another alternative would be to offer top dollar in the EE for an unfired unit and see if a collector somewhere is willing to sell.

My suggestion: buy a used one and shoot it.

They're not making regular 92's anymore? that sucks! :(... What about comercial M9? I'm assuming M9a1 will be availabe...

Oh well I guess my 92FS Inox will have to do for now ;)

FYI I know Al Simmons (in Hamilton, On) had both 92fs and 90-two when I was there a couple of weeks ago.

OMG people how many times do we have to go over the fact that 92FS is not discontinued...

but whether or not our distributor will receive more of them in the country is another question.

Ya, make that ONLY a 90-Two....I bought that NIB Beretta 92FS while I still could...picking it up this week :)

ya.. my wife just got a 92FS inox.. and it is really, really really nice.
So, I thought if I could get my hands on one too, this would be great.
I swear to god.. I got suckered into the Glock concept... I should have bought a Berretta first.
