94 Ranger vs. Trapper

What's are the differences between the two models? Does the Trapper have a heavier barrel?

I don't think the barrel is heavier on the trapper, although it seems so, maybe its thicker on the end because it has 3 1/2 inches cut off of it, I can't say for sure though. I do know that the trapper has a walnut stock while the ranger has a hardwood stock, that might account for the price difference, hope this helps.
