9422 What scope?

I picked up a 9422 magnum and wondering if I should put a scope on it. Do any of the scopes that are advertised as being for rimfire offer any advantages? What magnification is ideal for out to 100 yards? How about see through mounts, any good? Or stay away from them?

Any recommendations or comments?

Mount the scope just high enough to clear the hammer, see through mounts/rings suck... there are plenty of good scopes out there, but a 94 is begging for a slim low profile scope, something in the 1.5-6X or 2-7X range... not sure what your budget is??? But, here are some nice ones;

Have fun with that one!
I've been pissing around with same rifle and a 2-7 Leupold rimfire, short of knocking off rear sight or tapping some holes or marring receiver with a t10 weaver base I'm getting out of options. I'd like not to alter rifle as there getting hard to find.
Let us know if you find something that works decent.
