Can anyone tell me anything bad about getting a 97A besides having to find more room in my safe?

Mag release- and there are several people working on that issue. Otherwise, it's good.

The shorty's are a little gassy (you get a good whiff of gas every now and then). This probably has to do with the huge mother of a gas booster on the end of the barrel. This is not a problem with the longer version though.

Mine has been 100% reliable.

The only real major issue is the mag release that should be corrected once the other nutz get their hands on it.

Biggest hurdle (for me anyhow) is sneaking it in without the wife seeing it. You know the same old crap, "WHAT, don't you have enough guns already?!?!?"

As for the mag release, I think it will not be an issue for us "lefties", so if you aren't one, then learn to shoot left!
