I’m thinking about replacing my Gsg-16 9” with a 10/22. I really like short “tacticool” Gsg as a fun little plinker, but I’d like to replace it with something similar but better quality. I’m wondering if anyone has built a 10/22 with similar looks and dimensions? Also looking for opinions/thoughts and ideas on what route to go. Pictures would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Look into Dlask Arms. They've probably got what you want.
Their TUF22 is a 10/22 platform that ALSO takes a proprietary 25round mag. (In addition to still using the regular ruger mags).

The 10/22 can be shortened with a 12.5" barrel. In the SR-22 stock, it's still tacticool and adjustable:
The TM-22 is a high-quality all-metal alternative as well, bonus is that the mags are not limited to 10 rounds like the 10/22 platform. Dlask made a short barrel run of 12.5" as well.
My personal "High Quality" fav is the KV SBR though.
