9mm 147 gr. JHP by Zero bullet company - Minimum OAL

I tried to find recommendation for the minimun overall length for the 9mm 147 gr. JHP by Zero bullet company and could not find anything.

I am using Vihtavuori v-N320 powder.

I have been testing various quantities of propellant from 3,1 up to 3,8 grains.

I have noticed barely noticable signs of primer flattening in cartridges loaded with 3,8 grains at 1,1 inch OAL.

My next test will be 3,8 grain at 1,164 OAL and I expect no sign of primer flattening.

I am testing in a Glock G34.

I am hoping to have comments/suggestion concerning OAL in relation to:

- reliability
- safety

(Unfortunatly, I do not own a chronograph yet to provide more relevant information about this issue.)

Quick note!

I was about to go to the range so I tried to load 2 mags and had some difficulties.

147 JHP from Zero company with an overall lenght of 1,164 JAMS when loading Glock G17 mags.

I adjusted the overall lenght down to 1,147 and I could load them in the mags no problem.

I will now test those rounds at the range to check for overpressure signs and test function.

I wish some book stated what was the minimum overall lenght for those specific bullet!

I know 147 grain XTP minimum overall lenght is 1,142 using the same powder so considering these 2 bullets have similar construction I can only guess 1,147 is fine!

I'm going to the range to see what up with these cartridges!

Anyone has tips/comments/sugestion about this?

I haven't loaded 400 rounds in my life so your wisdom is more than welcome!
