9mm ammo

Will you be getting any cheaper 9mm ammo in soon...

you want cheaper ammo? are you kidding, your lucky there is ammunition available... in United States box of 50 rds of regular 9mm is being sold for $59.99, and even those are hard to come by. check American websites,---Cheaperthandirt.com or cabalas.com..there is ammunition drought, atleast we have ammunition to buy. If Americans can get their hands on the norinco 45acp for 329.00, they wouldn't last a day.

^"If Americans can get their hands on the norinco 45acp for 329.00, they wouldn't last a day." China has no problems selling to US, US is the one with the ban preventing Americans from getting NORC products.

^^Point being our ammo is way under-valued due to the fact that Americans are not able to buy it. If the market was available to them, ALL the Norc 23, .45, and surplus 7.62 would be long gone, or priced the same as the States (double or more ours now?). We don't have it all that bad is the point!

As for the OP, CanAm has said many times, they don't expect any NOS 9x19mm to surface, and for China to produce newly manufactured 9mm (or mostly any caliber for that matter) would be about the same or more as what we pay currently for 'cheap' ammunition.

From Canada Ammo in regards to 9mm ammo:
Nope, their new price is no bargain.
the price is higher than US made
No problem, Selling price would be around $300 per 1000 at retail

You guys should periodically check the site: I just stocked up on Federal 9mm, there's still cases of 124gr and 115gr in stock but going fast.

^Is 17 bucks a box of 50 considered cheap nowadays. Haven't bought 9mm in a while. At that price might as well shoot NORC 45s.

^I'm referring to the cases which were $319/1000 (free shipping) -- not sure if any left.
Yes that's decent 9mm pricing by today's standards.

No. 9mm should never be over $300/1000.

Every gun store these days is whining about the "shortage" of 9mm, when I can order it from 2000 miles away for $300 or under.

Demand determines price, but $17/box is nuts.

Regular 124gn FMJ 9mm should be $250-$280/1000.

I'm just the guy buying it though, so YMMV.

I'm able to find 9mm FMJ in 116 / 124 for local pickup in Vancouver for around $250+tax.

Can get reloaded for a bit less (it's not a huge savings, but with the Mrs. grumping about how much I'm spending on ammo, every bit helps!)

I agree, I bought a case last year for $200/1000. Unfortunately it's pretty much gone but I'm too cheap to buy it at $300+ a case.
