9mm and Unique.

I' m loading up some 115gr fmj and hp rounds in 9mm, and decided to try Unique. However,my Lee manual states 5.5gr is max,whereas I saw another manual,I htink it was IMR's site, that stated 6.3gr was max. I can't find the data now, so unless I can verify that I don't want to try it,as it quite an increase for such a small case. Even 5.5 seems to be somewhat compresses already. Anyone load Unique in 9mm here?

I use it for 147's.

3.8 grains and 1.085 OAL.

Won't be using it for 124's or 115's .
Probably Titegroup or 231.

I've been doing exactly the same as you, using 5.5 grains with 115 FMJ and haven't had any problems. Lyman says 4.4-5.8 grains and Speer says 5.7-6.4 grains so I think your good to go

Any loads I have seen published by Lee seem to be on the low ( conservative ) side.

9mm can be especially fussy regarding different case sizes & pressures so I usually check at least 3 different sources for 9's.
