Hey guys i was wondering if i could get some help with bullet choices.

Currently i am shooting 124gr BDX bullets with 4.3gr of titegroup with an OAL of 1.142 (which i am perfectly happy with) just kinda curious about other brand of bullets.

I'm wondering if i were to switch to the zero 125gr JHP-C would i need to change my OAL in order to get them to feed realibly. also i cant find much load data on them either could anyone help me out with that?

lastly would i notice any difference in consistency and accuracy between the BDX and the Zero's

They'll be shot out of a taurus 99 if that makes a difference

Thanks

Welcome to the forum!

Different bullet mean's playing with OAL.
Load'em long and turn your seating stem in 1/8 turn at a time till you get the right length. Then worry about the crimp.

Just find some data for 124g JHP 9mm bullets and seat them to the max OAL and work from there. I will be picking up some of those zeros, so will let you know how it goes...

Thanks for the welcome zuke and ill just start with the max OAL like you guys suggest

Thanks kingdarb i look forward to hearing about it

The 125 Zero is a great bullet! That being said, I know lots of guys that regularly switch between the 124 BDX and 125 Zero depending on what's available when they need them. If you're happy with the BDX you probably won't see much difference.
