used in a glock 17 9mm

and a colt ro634 9mm smg (10.25" barrel)

I used to use only the 115 grn JHP from canadian bdx but he cant get them anymore with bullseye powder

I was looking around and found aim bullets

9mm 124grn or 9mm 147 grain

now i shot pistol at 25 meters and the smg at 25-50 meters just target shooting nothing fancy

the 115 grn fed perfectly and was very accurate for me so i want somthing that will work in both guns

so whats the 9mm weight everybody uses now?

My p226 seems to shoot the most accurate with 124 grain JHP's. The 115 FMJ's seem to have a greater spread when i'm shooting at the 100m gong. With the 124 JHP's I can hit the gong with every shot if i take my time, I cannot with the 115's. For me even 124 FMJ's were better than the 115 FMJ's.

I use 124gr. in my Sig P229R and it works great. I know of at least one instance where a shooter has had trouble with 147gr in his pistol until he has "broken it in". I recommended 124gr. as a solution to the problem and it disappeared.

Do a little research yourself - 147gr may not work for you depending on what OAL and powder you use.
For one - some guns like shorter rounds, also, with some powders you won't be able to achive proper load with 147gr bullets without going compressed load or such...

You'll be fine with either 124 grain bullets or 147's. It will just depend on what kind of subjective feel you prefer, but if you are not competing in one of the speed oriented sports such as IPSC, it really won't matter much. Accuracy wise, you won't be able to out shoot either choice.

If you live anywhere near the GTA and want to try some out, I can give you some samples of each if you like and you can mess around with loads before you decide and commit your money.

x2 on the 124 gr. and titegroup powder.
my CZ 75 is super accurate with that combo.

We're not the only ones. It was recommended to me by an M.D. Charlton sales rep. I found out the powder was like $12.00 less per pound than bullseye and figured why the heck not. Now my accuracy and velocity are higher and my cost is down by almost a cent a shot so it just works out perfectly.

Titegroup + 124 grain round nose bullets everyone should try this.
