Any thoughts on the 9mm Dillon resizing/decapping die? Primers sometimes stick to the decapping pin and get pushed back into the primer pocket.

Don't have that issue with my Dillon 9mm carbide resize / decap die. It has a spring loaded decap pin, which is supposed to be its secret trick to popping primers away and not re-seating them. WOrks well for me, only issue is that I end up having to replace the circlip that holds the decap pin in every 5k rounds or so.

Re-profile the tip of the decapping pin, one of the profiles below should do the job. *Note: I find that the 45° cut can make the pin more susceptible to bending.

Yes mine too has a spring, I hear the pin clicking on upstroke or downstroke, one of the 2. How do you like the shape of your cases after resizing them with the Dillon die?

This is my solution.

Take the bent/broken Dillon decapping pin and file off the area where the pin was. Make sure it is square to the sides. Then drop in a Lyman decapping pin, place the cap from the Dillon pin on top, and assemble as normal. Here is a pic before assembly.
