OK I'm finally ready to reload for 9mm at least I think I am. I have 125grn lead conical nose bullets, win 231 powder, win small pistol primers, and this data from winchester (125 gr. LCN *win231 1.125" 3.9grn 1009fps 25,700 CUP 4.4grn 1086fps 31,200 CUP ) I already ran all my brass through the tumbler, then I sized deprimed them, next I plan to run them through the tumbler again, then clean primer pockets, measure cases and trim any that are over .751" ,next I plan to flare all the cases , prime all the cases , then charge and seat bullets. I figure I will charge 25 at 3.9 grains, 25 at 4.0grns,25 at 4.1,etc to test 5 5shot groups in my pistol for function/accuracy. the load the rest at the preferred load. I would appreciate any input from the experienced reloaders (you already saved me on the trimming thing! thanks again) the powder and bullets are all I have to work with right now.

personally, I dont trim and even clean the primer pockets, unless I am loading a rifle ammo and for accuracy thing, but for a pistol/ revolver for me tumbling the brass is sufficient.

If you tumble with the primers out, the pockets will get clean enough.
After you check length/trim be sure you chamfer and deburr the case mouth.
Make sure you don't over-flair the cases, just enough flair for the bullets to start without scraping.

WW231 tends to burn pretty dirty at low pressures, the hotter you load it the cleaner it will burn (but it'll be harder on your gun and tend to leave lead in the barrel).

Seems like you are doing just fine, so far.

I just run them through the tumbler once. THen it's into the press they go. No need to decap and rerun them inthe tumbler, your mking yourself do all that hard work for nothing.

Very good plan. A little hints for you as I did before. Before you shoot the first five shoot, make sure you run several dry patch to take away all the oil inside the barrel. oil affect accuracy. Before you sit the bullet, you may want to check every case has the same among of powder charge. I like sparky ammo, I will clean them nicely, even primer pocket. May not help much as a cup of black coffee will ruin my whole night effort.
By the way, some good read for 9mm reload: http://p201.ezboard.com/fczechpistols82792frm9.showMessage?topicID=660.topic
