Hey guys-figured I'd share a pic from my last outing with a 9mm Flobert to try and get the conversation started. I've been wanting to stock-up a bit on 9mm Flobert ammo and as far as I can determine, RWS are the only company making this? I thought Fiocchi might be too, but can't see it on their weird site. It's such an uncommon caliber that I'm calling this post an "information sharing" post, not a "WTB ad. Simply put-if you know of any retailer in Canada selling ammo in this caliber, maybe share here?

It's a fun caliber, even if this Anschutz's chamber is grippy after each shot. lol Explains the shape and location of the scratches on the stock by the receiver-knife used to pry-out empties? Fun caliber, zero recoil...I love shooting the ball ammo most. I had some empty, blue propane cylinders with me that day...a ton of fun.

Sponsor Intersurplus has had it in the last year, now out of stock. You might call them and find out if they anticipate resupply.

The website for a place called Canada's Gun Store has 9mm Flobert ammo. It's $49.99 for a tin of 50 rounds.

Another place, Ammunition Reload, says it has Fiochi 9mm Flobert shotshells going for north of $54 for 50.

Thanks Grauhanen=careful with the latter, neither browser on my computer would even let me open that website...and when I Googled, there are some concerns about legitimacy. CGS will be getting my order unless I find a vendor with those and shot bigger than #9.

Good to know. Fortunately I have no interest in the site. Regarding the shotshells, it's hard to imagine the shot being bigger than number 9. Shotshells are probably better in the Anschutz smoothbore made for Flobert ammo.

I'm pretty sure the shot shells I have are #7-1/2, but I'm also pretty sure they get any bigger for 9mm Flobert. And I agree-gun in the thread starter is a Anschutz smoothbore in 9mm Flobert. I do worry about how long the extractor will hold-up considering the effort required. Brass empties do free-up with a sharp tug.

The ball ammo-considering keeping a brass rod with the gun for those. lol

Not helping much, but I see it is being offered for sale (currently out of stock) at a USA company that has Midway in their name. US$54 for 50 rounds is steep! Fiocchi and claims to be made in USA (but again I know that does not help)

Got these three and no gun for them. Two are unopened and the 3rd might be short 1. Reasonable offer and shipping from V1L and they're yours.
