I have 3 tins of 9mm flobert rimfire. What are they worth? And what gun fires them? I bought these at a closeout and have no idea what they are for.

They shot shells or a bullet?
Webley-Scott made guns for it, long ago. There's an Italian company making single shot, O/U and SXS long guns. Doubt you'll find one here though. Very short range stuff.

These are plastic tins of 50 rounds. With the following on the lid.

50
FLOBERT-
PATRONEN
BB CAPS
9mm
Rundkugein
Dynamit Nobel
Aktiengesellschaft
TROISDORF

"...BB CAPS..." That makes it a bullet. They're used, in Europe, for shooting rats and pidgeons. They'd likely do well for grouse, if you could find a long gun to shoot them out of.

I have a Winchester model 36 shotgun in 9mm Flobert. The only ammo that I've ever seen was sold as a collectors item for $3/shell, with a 3 shell limit. If anyone knows where to get this in shot shells at a resonable price let me know. (I would love to try a round a skeet just for the hell of it, but it's not worth $75 to me.)

"...try a round a skeet just for the hell of it..." That's all it'd be. Max range is about 15 yards. 1/4 oz shot charge at about 600fps. 87 ft/lbs of muzzle energy.

That doesn't worry me, the real problem is going to be the doubles, since the gun is only a single shot bolt action.:)

But, can some one answer my questions on the BB caps?

It's the old "they're worth whatever someone is willing to pay for them".

I don't think they are as desirable as the shotshells but they still may sell on the EE. As someone above mentioned they picked some up for $10/box.

Hell, I have a 9mm flobert, maybe I'll even buy them!
