I'm reloading my 9mm for the first time. I have 115gr cast bullets (rcbs rn) who what why and where can i find load data for these? I do have reloading books from Nosler, Hornady, Lyman and Speer but unsure of what other cast bullets will compare to these.

Hi. There's 115 grain cast data in the Lyman Pistol and Revolver Handbook. And on Hodgdon's site. 'LRN' means Lead Round Nose.
"...what other cast bullets will compare to these..." Doesn't matter who made 'em. Load for the bullet weight.

4.8 with TG?! that seems kinda hot, im loading 124 AIMs with 4.2 and that's pretty damn hot. 3.6-3.8 was my load with cast bullets. Hodgdons says 3.9-4.3 for a 115 LRN

In the absence of a listed load I would start low for maybe 20 - 25 rounds and go up 0.2 grains at a time.

Do you know what high pressure looks like when you get there?

I dont want to hijack anything, but i just started up with 124 gr, cast with blue dot. Its the only handgun powder i have and seems to punch hard at 7.8gr powder. i couldnt find much for sign on the primers but they didnt feel right. Any suggestions on blue dot for 124? i couldnt find anything for cast.

Yes, I'll keep an eye on the primers. I think I'm going to start with 3.2 of TG and go from there. I was as much concerned with a reduced load as overload.

I used to load Frontier plated 115gr with Universal. OAL 1.105" , 4.4gr Universal, velocity was 1155ft/s.
You can prolly load 4.0-4.2gr with lead bullet.

The load data I provided is just fine for a 115 gr bullet 9mm, how can anybody suggest 3.1 grains of TG in a modern 9mm? I am even using more than 3 grains in a 1876 revolver in 38. It all depends on your overall length and the way you crimp too. The longer the cartridge, the more powder you can load. Check http://data.hodgdon.com/cartridge_load.asp for approximates.
