What kind of price were you thinking about? $300/1000 rounds seems to be the average price out around here. How many thousand rounds do you want to buy?
"...without shipping cost..." If you don't go get it, you'll be paying for shipping. And it won't be cheap. Shipping costs are set by the carrier, not the retailer. They go by weight, the size of the package and distance.
Any local gun shop can order a case of whatever brand your pistol shoots best if their supplier has it in stock. Be prepared to pay up front though.

Yes, quite right. For instance, shipping 2000 rounds of 9mm 115 Gr. FMJ (about 26 kg) from Edmonton to Montreal would cost between $100 and $120 + GST, depending on the carrier. So shipping this quantity adds about 20% to the purchase price. If a person only buys a thousand rounds, the shipping cost is still in the $65 range for shipping.
I'm sure that a person can buy 2000 rounds of 9mm in Montreal for less than $765, which is about what it would be shipped from Edmonton.

I know Marstar (between Ottawa and Montreal) doesn't generally allow "pick-up" service, but maybe if you bought enough to last you for a number of years John would make an exception. They sell Winchester 9mm for $239/1000:

I have a cz 75 pre-b model. It likes the win.white box in both 124 and 147 gr. I do find the the 147 gr. is a little higher hitting the target but still shoots good and is easy to compensate. I just found a good deal on the American eagle 124 so I will try that and see what these are like and let you know.I hope that this helps.

I have a CZ-75B, and so far it likes Winchester white box and Federal AE in 115 gr. and 124 gr.
I'd like to find a really good deal on something decent for practice, and then stock up.

Who is selling 9mm for $10 a box? (I'm assuming you mean box of 50 rounds).

OK. Thanks. I looked on their web site, but obviously their ammo listings are not kept complete. I'll give them a call. $10.80 a box would still be a significant saving if ordered in quantity, even with shipping.
