9mm Markorov Bullets

Thanks. The first 500 I used were Bullet barn. They worked well. I gather BB has re-surfaced?

Yes. Murray Stagg bought the business and equipment and moved it to Spirit River Alberta. I think the move and setup took a while longer than he planned. I have bought a few orders from him since the move and have nothing but good things to say about him.

Lets see the Makarov please.

Seen one, seen them all...

The PA-63's are lighter, and feel the recoil more.

Thanks, I always wanted one.

The Makorov is about the same size as a Walther PP. It has a nicer double action pull than the PP and the PA-63. It also has a slide release, which the other pistols lack. A bit heavy, which makes it a nice gun to shoot.

The Mak has a much stiffer recoil spring than a PP or a PA-63 (or my other similar sized blow-back pistols). It would be difficult for some people to load it. My wife could not come close to being strong enough to rack the slide.

Mine launches Hornady 95 gr XTPs at about 1050 fps. Nothing to sneeze at.

I used Berry's when I had my Makarov. Got them through Mystic Precision, though that was many years ago. The Makarov is one I really regret selling.

Not sure if casting is your thing but Lee makes a 9mm Makarov mould:
Lee 2-Cavity Bullet Mold 365-95-1R 9mm Makarov (365 Diameter) 95 Grain 1 Ogive Radius
