hundreds pf rounds a year ?
why think small think thousands
9 mm a real gun? Go with the .45 (realer gun) and when you need (won't take long) another gun buy yourself a .357 wheelgun. If ammo cost is a factor get a 9and a .45 later and then a .357 and a .44 and maybe a .454 or .50. Remember that in the end whoever has the most wins.
I just got rid of my norinco I used for IPSC. For the price you pay they are awsome to shoot.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with Norinco 1911's, as far as the cost of 45 ammo goes, get into reloading as quick as you can, it narrows the gap considerably, and makes it easy to 'stockpile' 'thousands of rounds' of ammunition (as they say on TV) Since its going to be near impossible for me to find the .45 long colt.
I want your opinions guys should I get a .45 acp or 9mm. I like the price of the 9mm ammo but enjoying the punch of the 45. I was looking at a couple cz tactical models at my local gun shop and they were hot in 9mm but I've always had a fondness for the ole faithful 1911
I'd like some input from some people with more experience
