9mm +p casings...

I found some 9mm +p casings at the range. Are these exactly the same as the normal 9mm brass except for the amount of power that was once inside?

Or... is there some difference in the case?

Highly unlikely that a manufacturer would stamp different cases for +P loads.

Same cases, just stamped differently so you don't put them in a gun that can't handle them.

In the case of our guns at work, our duty ammo is stamped +P, but our training ammo isn't. I wrangled a couple pails of brass from a training session and it was a mix of both (We shoot off our duty ammo annually.)

I reloaded it as per normal, with no problems, regardless of the stamp.

Thanks for the replies. I was pretty sure there was no difference in the brass. Just wanted to make sure that I wouldn't be vaporized if I reloaded one incorrectly.
