Hello everyone,

I'm fairly new to reloading and I loaded some 9mm 147gr. Xmetal bullets as well a some 147gr. Campro bullets with titegroup. I have more of them to load as well as some 124gr. RN Campros and I would like to know what everyone is using for powders for 124gr. or 147gr. lead, coated or FCP bullets. I'd like to try different powders to find which works best for me but there's a lot and I can't decide where to start. I'm shooting a shadow 2 and starting IPSC.

Thanks

I use Autocomp for X Metal 147 gn FN bullets- 3.7gn for 130 power factor, 1.14” COL. Others have had good results with CFE Pistol, and I know a guy who loves Titegroup for X-metal 147 RN bullets.

Well this year I used 10,000 Campro 147gr with 3.2 gr Titetegroup at 1.11 OAL in 9mm Stock II Australian (5" barrel like Shadow 2). Were quite accurate. PF was arround 130.

I use HS-6.
Meters very good.
It's not so economical as titegroup since you need a little bit more but double charges would overflow the case unlike with titegroup.

I use Titegroup for accuracy loads. Foe each bullet, load Start to Max in 0.3 gr increments, 10 of each, and see how they shoot. I find that most pistols have a load that works better than the others..

If the "best" load does not make PF, add a bit more powder until it does.
