Is there any comprehensive web pages that exist
that can given approximate PF for 9mm and Winchester 231?

I have searched on Brian Enos' site and have found many loadings such
as: 4.5gr WW231 and 124 gr FMJ or: 3.8 gr WW231 and 147 gr FMJ.
These are examples. I have no chronograph and I am concerned about power factor. Suggestions?

Bite the bullet and get a chrono for yourself.

Nobody else's results are going to be the same for you and the last thing you want to do is find out at a major match you're 124.9 PF (Which isn't minor!)

There are just way too many differences between your gun and whatever / wherever they are using - even the same brand and model of gun can be different.

Talk to Dr. Neil and have him come out to the range with his Chrono. you will want to load up about a 135 power factor to allow for all variables. i am sure there are a few more people in Red Deer who have chronos as well.

and yes it does happen that people try to cut their PF to close. I know a well versed shooter who drove about 600 miles to a major match and shot about 124.5 which meant he shot the match for fun since he didn't score.

Jeff Maass' site has some good info on loads and other IPSC resources.

4.5 grs of W231 puts you in the 130-140 PF range, depending on your gun.

I run that load in my G17 and I think its around 132 PF.

It'll depend on the individual gun, bullet and other stuff.
You really need to run your loads thru your gun and a chrono.
