9mm reloading

With plated, my cost is about 15c a round. If i make my own bullets (and I do) it goes down to 5 cents. Not that I tried hard enough, I am having tough time to score free WW. :(

I'll probably have to pay premium at scrap yard but cost will not go up much. Maybe 1 cent more per round!?

I love shooting lead bullets (outdoors from now on though). I can shoot and shoot and get tired first before going poor.

14 cents per round.

1000 campro TMJ 147 gr = $100
1000 CCI SP = $32
3.3 gr of Clays @ $29 per pound
Free cases

= 19 cents per round. I wish I could cast my own.

Best i can due is .19 each. Buying powder and primers locally here in Vancouver. Bullets from Aim.

Please post where you are getting you supplies.

16 cents per round.
Using Universal powder and Fed primers I buy in Chilliwack and Frontier plated bullets shipped to me from Marstar. Taxes in. Current prices.

For 1000 rounds
$35 Primers
$120 BDX 124gr FMJ Bullets
$16 Universal Clays Powder using 4.2grains
$171/1000
17 cents per round

I've got to find a cheaper source for bullets.

Try those Frontier plated ones, I recently got some in 115gr and loaded over 4.4gr of Universal, shot them at one practice and a match - very nice load and accuracy is good!!
It cost me $111 per 1K bullets to my door (after tax and shipping) across Canada.

I cast my own bullets. I assigned a cost of $30.00 per thousand to cover fuel used looking fo rwheel weights and the lube used to produce them. I enjoy casting so I don't pay myself to do it, then again, I don't figure my time in reloading either.

Just banging-around-the-range rounds vice high quality ones with jacketed bullets:

$54.99 / 1,000 120gr RNL................... 5½¢
Primer............................................... 3¢
3.6 gr Red Dot.................................... ½¢

Brass – essentially free, given the number of times it’s been reloaded.
Press, dies, etc – ditto.

9¢a round.
