I'm surprised this hasn't come up yet, but having both in my safe, and I get both rounds for the same price, I'd still recommend the 9mm. The recoil of the .40cal is significantly more than 9mm. So if you ever plan to shoot IPSC, IDPA, PPC, etc, the 9mm will be more accurate without question.

Gen4 Glock is not bad also, I want one myself. But I'd stay away from .40 caliber models.
Yes I did but I sold it.....I regret it already but I think I will buy it again but get the Pro model this time
