I have always found SFRC to have awesome prices on S&B 9mm - seems to be most accurate for me. Also happens to be some of the cheapest ($290/1000)

If you want Reloads, try Wolf.. Steel case go for Barnaul. However in all honesty, spend the extra 20 bucks / 1000 and get brass cased. you can give them away to someone who reloads or save them yourself.

If in BC, check out Custom Reloading Service (CRS). They are a site sponsor.
They commercially reload copper jacketed ammo including hollowpoints in several handgun calibers. 9mm is around $13/50 if bought by the 1000.
I shoot it all the time. Works fine for punching paper.

1. You don't need hollow points to punch holes in the paper.
2. Tulammo or Barnaul (Barnaul has hard primers though, not all firing pins make a dent deep enough for it to ignite).

Who cares what he uses to punch holes in paper ??
Since when is it requirement to "need" a hollowpoint in order to possess it ?

I've used several boxes of their 9mm 124gr loads.
Accurate and also very consistent over the chronograph.

x2 for CRS... I've used a boatload their 9mm, as well as some .40, .45, .38 and .357. All good stuff!

What if he wants to hunt with it? 9mm isn't the best for big game but for pests like racoons or squirrels it would be fine. I have a CX4 I wouldn't hesitate to use on coyotes.

I had a cx4 that was chambered in .357 Sig it was my Coyote culling machine I sold it to someone on here its the 1 that got away that I wish I had kept such a useful compact unit on the prairie farm .

HP is generally more $$ so the suggestion to not use it for range shooting is a valid point.

I think that was the point being made
