Anyone have a Steyer Hahn chambered in 9x23mm Steyr?

Where do you find ammo?

What more common brass can you use to reload with?

if you are lucky enough to find some 9mm LARGO, that stuff will work aswell.
also, if you dont wish to change the bbl, starline makes 9x23 largo brass. its not that expensive. last time i bought, it was about 100$ per 1000.

How do you rechamber a pistol to a shorter round (9x23 to 9X19)?

Anyways, as pointed out, Starline sells brass (9mm Largo which is very close), but depending on your chamber tolerances, 9x23 and 38 Super might both work, although their rim diameters might need to be reduced to fit the bolt face and extractor.

Turn the rim on 38 Super brass to the same size as the case head and load with 9mm Luger dies and mild Luger handloads. These arms are pushing 100 and the only that gets stronger with age is cheese.

Do not shoot .38 Super in your gun. It's much too strong a cartridge and even if you get away with it for a few rounds, eventually you'll damage the gun (and maybe yourself). I think Fiocchi in Vancouver offers 9mm Steyr. I have one of the 1912s and got some ammunition and although I really don't remember the details, I don't remember it as being much of a problem.

i have a styer 1911 and the starline largo brass works just fine in it, with no modifications to brass or gun. as has been said, DO NOT shoot 38 super in the gun.
starline brass is easy enough to get, and you dont have to mess with the bbl, or trimming rims on cases.
