Versions of the C96 pistol were once available in this round. I have heard it had greater hitting power than a .38 Super.

About the only rounds that approximate its power are probably 10mm, but I could be off a bit.

Does anyone have a pistol in this caliber? I have not heard of any pistols in this caliber in existence in all of Canada.

Are there any TT33 conversions to this caliber?

Not the same round of ammunition. 9x25 mauser export is a straightwall rimless case like a long 9x23. With similar ballistics to a .38 super. 9x25 Dillons is what was used in IPSC Open guns, made from necking down a 10mm case (bottleneck case) to 9mm and was capable of greater velocities than .38 super but in practice was loaded to similar velocities as a .38 super but with more slower powder to make the comp work.

Thanks for the replies. I don't think you can get 9X25mm export brass, unless you do some antique picking. It's reloading only & people are using 9mm Winchester magnum brass. Scant info on this caliber. If there are people still running them, I would imagine it would be in various South American countries & possibly over in Eurasian countries.

There we go! Another obscure caliber for me to acquire and drop lots of money into, lol.
Makes sense now, Broomhandle was on my 'Bucket list' anyhow
