For this budget, what you would choose? I need at least 16X and it can be 40mm or 50mm. I will shoot at 75 yards minimum. (for less I use my 10/22) Do I really need AO?
I looked at a Barska Euro model with IR at my local gun shop and I was very impressed. But at 200$ I think his price is too high. Maybe I can find a better price elsewhere but I don't know where.
What is you opinion? (yes I know that I should buy a Leupold or similar but budget is a matter)

Thanks

I have a tasco VAR624X42M (6-24x42mm) on one of my .22s that I have been very happy with considering the price; it was well under 200 bux.

I have been using it for almost a year for targets from 40 to 100 meters, the target knobs seem to work well and it has a 1 inch tube so it wasn't hard to find rings for it. (I had some trouble finding 30mm rings to fit my 3/8 dovetail.) FWIW, I used Burris medium height rings and it clears my cz 452 bolt no prob

One of the problem is I don't want target knob (the knob that can be rotate by hand) I miss a crow because of it. I thought about Tasco once but everyone seem to think they are really cheap product. But Tasco has specs I need for a scope (I.E. price, magnification etc.)

Bushnell Banner 6-24x40. Very nice scope on a .17, nice clear sight picture, mil-dot reticle and AO. Picked one up for $159 at P&D.
