I currently own two .30-06's: a Midland 2100 & a M70 Featherweight CRF. Any self-respecting gunnut needs to have a .22, a 12ga. and a .30-06. These are the bare-bones meat & potatoes and everything else is "wants" not "needs".

I have sold off all my rifles and gone to just a 30-06 in a Sako 85 topped with a Leupold FXIII 6x42.

I have hunted with my 30-06 for years but bought a 375 h&h and used it for moose this year,just bought a 25-06 so i guess i'll have to try that out too.

Older browning A bolt, blued synthetic, with talley mounts and older burris fullfield 3-9x 36. Plain, simple, praticle and very reliable, I really should use it more.
AND Benneli R1 argo, more of a toy than the browning, I was thinking of using next hunting season, we'll see how our prctice sessions go.

Nobody really hates it, everybody has some...BUT you will gladly reach past it for something with a little more flavor!

3 of them. 2- 700's and a BSA. I needed extras because if your going to lend something out, you want to be able to provide the best.

I voted yes but I dont currently own one. I have owned three rifles chambered so. A Win 70 Ranger, a 700 Titanium, and a 700 CDL SF Ltd. Nothing wrong with the 30-06 it is pretty hard to beat as a hunting cartridge, it can do it all
