Thought I would leave a big Thank You to the folks at Beaverhill Lodge ot by Edmonton.
They hosted a small introductory shoot for a few of my collegues and I last week and they did just an amazing job.
None of my collegues had even used a shotgun before let alone shot Sporting Clays and our instructor Derryl did an fantastic job of instructing the group. Everyone managed to get a few clays and we discovered one of my teammates is a "natural". They put on a great steak dinner for us at the end and every one had a wonderful time. Most of the group was from Ontario and they also got a chance to experience their first Prairie thunderstorm which added a bit of spice to the event.
For anyone living near Edmonton who doesn't know about Beaverhill Lodge, you really need to check it out. It's a great spot dedicated to shotgun sports. Very scenic and open year round. It has Sporting Clays, 5 Stand, FITASC, Trap and Skeet.
Cheers,
Martin
