A-Bolt trigger guard/floorplate droop?

Loose screw.
Might need a dab of bedding at the rear of the guard.

~~~
A more detailed description of the issue might help. Also wood, synthetic, factory, custom etc..
There is usually a little gap at the rear of the floorplate.
Ok screws are tight,wood stock,factory.
Here's what it should look like,I do believe.
Here's what it looks like now.
Do you know if that is the original stock?
Seems the rear guard screw is in too far or that there is a front screw missing.
Screw may be under the floorplate release button.
It almost looks as though the rear screw is too long to keep the trigger guard in place. Perhaps the original screw was replaced or mixed up with another. Is it possible that the action screws were mixed up, front for back? From the rather poor diagram I'm looking at, it appears that the front action screw might be longer.
IIRC there is a rather large steel shim between the receiver and stock, at the rear of the receiver. If I'm correct, and the shim is missing, there may be too much vertical play at the rear of the receiver. Loosen the front screw and see if the rear is loose, do this with the rear screw tight.
