A call to all Glock experts and fanatics! What generation Glock Magazine is this?

Hello there,

I am trying to figure out what Gen these 3 Glock 21 magazines are. They look like both Gen3 and Gen4 combined? Are the standard 10 Round magazines different in construction from the full size 13 round aside from the obviously capacity difference?

Gen 4s have mag catch recess on both sides.

I'd agree with that, however i have only seen Gen4 with the recess cuts on both sides AND the center slot for the ambi safety. This one doesnt have it. Thus my confusion.

These are new production gen 4's.
Center slot has been phased out and all new gen 4 mags will not have it.

The slot is for the limited "true ambi" mag release Glock did way back when. I have a gen 3 Glock 21sf with this ambi mag release and it only works with mags that have the center slot cut out.

Why the center slot cutout made it this long is beyond me.
