Now that is my style of airgun!
Bullet .45 dia and has more velocity than a 45ACP handgun.
Any of you guys seen this?

I imagine it would never cross the border due to it's quietness, would be damn cool if it did, it would probably be my first airgun.

There are a number of AirForce Texan rifles in Canada, a rifle which has been available for a couple of years. Not the SS version of course, but the regular model without a suppressor. They're somewhat well made, not quite up to the standards of Air Arms or FX, but fairly decent quality. Typically need some tweaking of the hammer weight and spring to get the velocity curve sensible as AF rifles usually dump excessive air as tuned by the factory. Here's a Canadian supplier:

Too bad we don't have the suppressed versions.
I would of paid that type of coin for the quiet one, just because it's a good conversation piece at the cottage and would make plinking even quieter than with 22s.
At that price point, i wouldn't want or need an air rifle. I'll just stick to 22s, i bet that unsupressed they must emit close to the same sound level as a 22.

Pretty much, though of course .22lr sounds different depending on factors like power level and barrel length - same ammo will sound different from a pistol compared to a rifle, and 2300fps bullets will be a lot louder than 900fps. I've not heard a Texan, suppressed or unsuppressed, but have the impression that hearing protection is essential with the unsuppressed version.
