Just wanted to give a quick shout out to CZ and the quality firearms they are puting out...
I recently picked up a CZ 513 Farmer for a grouse/plinker up at the cottage. I read all the reviews of the horrible trigger, but just wanted something simple so I opted for this over the Lux as it was shorter and lighter, and definitely cheaper.
Well despite that trigger it is amazingly accurate, and as always quality built.
Just a couple groups I shot today.......
This is with a cheap 4x scope @ 50m using CCI Standard Velocity:
Another CZ I just recently picked up is the CZ 455 Standard in 22 wmr. Again I chose this over the Lux because it was shorter, and cheaper. The wood actually is nicer on this one as well.
Anyways, I have shot it at 50m a bunch and was getting honest 1/2 inch groups so today we went out to 100m to see what she could do......
Using a 2-7 x Leupold Rimfire @ 100m with CCI Maxi Mag HP's:
Just throwing this thread up for those on the fence, or considering going with Savage or the likes. I have been there and done that and in the price range nothing compares to these CZ's.
Spend the extra cash and get something that will last, and keep you happy for a lifetime.
Cheers,
M
