Hi All
Want to upgrade from a pump and have really liked the Benelli products currently thinking about the M2 or M4.
If I get the M2 it will be the tactical version with ghost ring sights and comfortech stock. Just had a couple questions of the functioning of the M2.
(1) As it is an intertia system will it work if fired from the hip or does it need to be shouldered to fire reliable?
(2) It has this drop lever that when pressed will drops a shell from the magazine to the shell lifter. It seems that when the shotgun is fired that a round will go from the magazine to the shell lifter. Just wondering if this action is caused from the recoil of the shotgun or the trigger being pulled? Just wondering for example if you have a round in the magazine and a round in the chamber, you fire the action and it is a dud round, would you need to hit the drop lever before extracting and loading another round or does pulling the trigger release the round in the magazine to the shell lifter? (hope this makes sense).
Thanks
Del
