A crazy idea

Hello all, I have a crazy idea, I'm bored here thinking yes all be it probably a bad idea.
I have a couple of Tulane arsenal sks rifles, I'm thinking about really barrelling the rifle that I have in a ATI stock, just thinking if I can or would it work, changing the rifle from a 7.62x39mm to a 300 black out, some people shoot the sks with 308 bullets, so why not change the chambering or rebarrel and add the original piston system, or use a AR piston kit, just a crazy idea for a bored tinkerer

First how are people shooting 308 in an sks? Even if you drill the chamber to be longer the x39 is a .310. I see that not working or it working poorly. I could be wrong though. Also 308 wont fit in the mag

second I don't think your plan is physically possible. You would be better off building some thing from starch like Royal Nonsuch on youtube

The full length sizer I have came with two DE capping pins, I asked Lee about it they said some people opt to use 308 diameter bullets instead of. 310-.311 bullets.
And yah I was just thinking what would be a interesting round that might fit with the original bolt, magazines, likening said bored, but I like the round, just with I had more hahah

Well if you like the round, then that probably means you have the money to shoot that round when probably means you have the money to pay someone to make your idea real. The rounds though are so similar that the conversation seems pointless. Only if you like spending more money to shoot.
