Here is what greeted me when I first got to the range.

I was shooting this thing from about 130yrds and was hitting it about 4-5 times out of ten.

I don't know what's prettier; that sunset or the 10-22. Give me a rundown on the stock and scope and where you got it, would you? Thanks.

Those are good groups, especially for 100 yards. 100 yards can sure be a challlenge, but a lot of fun :). Any bit of wind and your groups are going to get a lot bigger! Nice set up you got. VQ barrel, kidd trigger, and what look like a boydes stock!

Thanks for the kind words everyone. The swinging target that I was shooting at is actually mine. I bought it at a gun store in Medicine Hat last weekend. My 100 Yard groups were shot with Remington Subsonic. I was just using my 50yrd zero and guessing the hold over. Next time I will actually try to zero the scope at 100 yrds and try get tighter groups.

The stock is a Boyd's in Burchell color laminat. I bought it off of a fellow at Rimfire Central. The scope is a Bushnell 4200 4-16X40 and I actually bought it off of a fellow CGN Member in the exchange forum.

Thanks again everyone.

Getting groups like that with Remington Subs at 100 yards is very, very good. I used to use Remington subsonics in my 10/22, and I thought I did preatty good with them, grouping around 1.5 inches at 100 yards on average. Well, I was wrong. With Lapua superclub, I am now consistantly grouping well under 1.5 inches with it at 100 yards on GOOD DAYS. Try some match ammo such as the Lapua SC and you should see a HUGE improvment :)

Sounds good, I will try that. I shot my best 50yrd 10 shot groups with Eley Club, they were pretty much one ragged hole. However, at $6-7 per box I will have to use them sparingly.

I was using T22 winchester to plink this swining target from about 130yards.

Here is a shot of me at the swining target looking back at my bench. The benches are approx. located where the red flag is.

Last pictures a bit small, so its a bit hard to see. Lapua superclub is about $4.60 a box (shipping and taxes included) so It is one of the cheapest kinds of match ammo. I know how you feel about shooting expensive ammo. I had a brick of Lapua Midas L a while back and it was hard shooting $15 a box ammo out of my 10/22...

Yah. www.targetshootingproducts.com They sell for about $387 a case I think, and then you have shipping and taxes. The final price for my case shipped to Vancouver Island BC was about $460. Best ammo I have ever tried to. From what I have seen and discovered, international imports (targetshootingproducts) prices are top notch. They have excellent service, and there prices like I said are very good.

Well, once I get settled in my new city, Medicine Hat, at the end of this month I will have to place an order. If anyone from Medicine Hat is reading this thread, is there a range close to town and would anyone be willing to take on another person when gopher hunting?

But before I go, I will post some more pics at the range. This time I will spend a little more time at the 100yrd range and see what my baby is capable of.

Sorry to get slightly off topic ,but all you 10/22 guys...what's a good place to buy one, and a good price to pay?
