So, I know the standard drill on Norc sights. Non-standard dovetail, no drop-in replacements, yada, yada.
BUT
I have an older NP-29 that was tuned by Joe Dlask (claimed, it has definitely been tuned) that has aftermarket sights on it. They are excellent sights, a major improvment over the current versions and I would like another set for my new Armco tuned Norc 1911.
Near as I can measure with the sights still on the slides, the rear sight dovetail is the same between the old NP-29 and the new 1911A1. Problem is, the rear sight has no identifying marks on it, which makes it hard to buy another set.
So, can anybody identify these sights from the following pictures?
It is hard to see in the pics, but the rear sight sits in the dovetail and arches over the rear of the slide, with no slide material being removed behind the dovetail. This makes for a drop-in replacement, if the dovetails are the same.
