I finally snapped today cleaning my Mk3 (22/45)... mag in, mag out, mag in, mag out... really annoying
I remember reading online that you can install a Mk2 bushing, or custom cut two washers. But just looking at the parts another even simpler method popped into mind. I'm sure it's been done before, but I've never seen it anywhere.
Remove the parts and clip the spring on both ends and you have your inner spacer/washer... then cut off the tabs of the disconnect lever and hit it with a grinder to round the edges and you have your outer washer.
Put it all back together and it works perfectly. This didn't even take 10 minutes to do, and it's free!
